Deal Lake

Deal Lake is a 158-acre lake located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It is the largest lake in the county and is situated in the city of Asbury Park, Allenhurst, Deal, and Interlaken. The lake was created as a result of a dam that was built on a natural stream and was used as a source of drinking water for the area until the 1970s. Today, it serves as a recreational spot, with various boating and fishing activities available. It is also a popular spot for picnics, walks, and bird watching. Additionally, there are several parks and nature reserves surrounding the lake that offer hiking trails and other outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy.
